The challenge:

This is one of Ireland’s oldest indigenous brands, one with a proud legacy and standing. Our brief was to drive strong top of mind salience for the brand among its important trade audience of construction professionals. The aim was to solidify its strong market position, at top of consideration set for builders, civil contractors, construction companies, plumbers, joiners and carpenters all over Ireland.

This is the brand’s first ever TV campaign, so our challenge was to ensure stand out while being true to all that Chadwicks stands for.

The solution:

To get this ad right we needed to make sure we understood the minds of its trade customers. “It’s carnage out there” we were told by one builder in research – time is tight, demand for construction is huge, while labour is scarce, and materials are short. For this customer, we concluded, reliability in a supplier partner is everything.

Chadwick’s own brand line ‘Let’s get it done’ summed it up and provided the creative springboard. Beethoven provided the soundtrack. The ad showcases Chadwicks relationship as a trusted partner for construction professionals in simply getting the job done.
