The challenge:
Visa’s She’s Next program is a purpose-driven initiative designed to support female entrepreneurs in Ireland, offering funding and mentorship to help small businesses grow. While the program had built strong foundations, there was an opportunity to broaden its reach, increase engagement, and attract a more diverse range of applicants. The campaign needed to re-energise interest, ensuring that women from all sectors felt encouraged to apply and take the next step in their business journey.
The solution:
To inspire and empower more women business owners, the campaign centered on real success stories, featuring past winners in a visually compelling setting. The creative approach was anchored in the message, "You’ve got this, and we’ve got you," reinforcing Visa’s commitment to championing female entrepreneurship.
A multi-channel strategy was implemented to maximise reach and engagement. Paid social and digital advertising across Meta and LinkedIn drove awareness, while a partnership with Her.ie allowed the campaign to connect directly with female entrepreneurs through high-impact content. Video storytelling played a key role in showcasing the journeys of previous winners, bringing authenticity and relatability to the initiative.
The results were exceptional. Audience reach exceeded 11 million, surpassing engagement and impressions targets. Applications to the program increased by 10% year-on-year, and Visa’s brand association with supporting women-owned businesses rose to 24%. The campaign not only revitalised She’s Next but also strengthened its position as a leading initiative for female entrepreneurship in Ireland.
